School Lunches: Mortadella Makes Life Better!
Fair warning: with school lunches this good, you’ll want to make extra for yourself.
As the new school year unfurls its familiar tapestry of sights and sounds, the cacophony of school buses, the symphony of children’s laughter, and bony shoulders slumping under too-big backpacks, we once again turn to school lunches. For the parental populace, trying to do all you can to help your kids have good days while keeping them adequately fed can be a challenge. Alarm clocks, snooze bars, showers, getting dressed, finding shoes, locating backpacks…if your meat & cheese drawer isn’t stocked with the right stuff, lunch could be a half a brown apple, a couple of saltines & a Capri Sun. Luckily, we are here to make sure that doesn’t happen!
Has your sandwich game atrophied over the summer? Not to worry, it comes back quick. Keep it simple with thinly-sliced mortadella, fresh mozzarella & a Macrina baguette. Sub some Prosciutto di Parma for a special treat (perhaps for you instead?). Zoe’s Turkey and some classic creamy sliced Havarti is always a favorite.
Ensure your kiddo has the best lunch at the table with the best chips you’ll find anywhere and some Cici’s Lemon or Mulino Bianco Abbracci cookies!
Just so you know, Abracci means Hug 🙂
Maybe you are thinking, “This is great, but I have no time to come all the way down to the Market & wrestle with parking and the lingering tourists who are going to Alaska! I’m busy here!”
Again, not to worry, all of these things are available online for Same Day Delivery in the Seattle area 7 DAYS A WEEK! Order by noon and it will costs less than it does to park in the Pike Place Market garage!
